Q5: Connect the following “document”s :)

Answers:

A4: Chanakya’s/Kautilya’s “Arthashastra”
A5: On the left is the document issued by the Republic of China, for mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau residents holding PRC nationality for entry to Taiwan. And on the right is the specific travel document issued by People’s Republic of China (PRC) to citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for entry into mainland China.
The first complete correct answer as well as individual correct answer(s) was given by BratX. Congrats !!! Shrey and Jango (via FB) also gave right answers to both the questions. Soumya, Shailesh Soni (via Twitter), Sylvian, Syed Zakiuddin, Ajaal/Gujaal and Sekar were right on the first one, although Sekar and Ajaal/Gujaal came very close on the 2nd one (half points for that) and Sylvian got close to the funda!!

    The document on the right is a Taiwan Compatriot Entry Permit. This permit is issued by the People's Republic of China to enable the Taiwanese to travel to mainland China. The People's Republic of China refuses to accept the Republic of China passports (image on left).

    A5- When the Mainland Chinese goes to Taiwan, he uses the passport on the left. When his Taiwanese cousin comes to met him in China, the cousin uses the passport on the right.

    34. The flag is Taiwan’s – something to do with Taiwan’s claim of sovereignty and China’s claim of Taiwan
